Davicom - MiniMAC2

MiniMAC2 units have been optimized for systems where the number of Inputs/Outputs is limited, and are non-expandable. They are the perfect choice for sites having only one transmitter.

VIRTUAL INPUTS/OUTPUTS AND TIMERS:

Virtual Logic Gates 128 Program conditional actions and complex logic functions, to control relays, set qualifiers, view flags or other events. In addition, MAC units have qualifier and inverter functions on all inputs.
Virtual Relays 128 Use the latch and pulse functionalities to qualify conditional actions without using physical relays.
Timers 128 Set date/time events & windows. For example, AM antenna pattern changes with specific time windows for each month.

FEATURES:

INPUTS / OUTPUTS

  • MiniMAC units now use industry-standard 50-pin Champ connectors for all its Input/Output points.

REMOTE CONTROL, MONITORING AND INTERROGATION

  • Ethernet jack #1 allows fully integrated IP capability, including the ability to send alarm messages through e-mail;
  • Telephone jack allows remote control/monitoring/interrogation through landline. Monitor audio inputs live over the phone and send commands using DTMF tones;
  • Serial port IOIOI-2 allows remote control/monitoring/interrogation through a GSM, satellite or landline external Hayes-compatible modem.

LOCAL CONTROL, MONITORING AND INTERROGATION

  • USB port to connect to a laptop (from the MiniMAC's front panel);
  • Serial port to connect to a laptop or PDA2 (from the MiniMAC's front panel);
  • Stereo headphone jack to locally monitor audio inputs (from the MiniMAC's front panel).

SITE MAINTENANCE

  • Local and pause push buttons (on the MiniMAC's front panel) allow on-site technicians to work safely.

ON-SITE ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT

  • Ethernet jack #2 can ping up to 32 on-site ancillary equipment;
  • Auxiliary serial port can control an on-site ancillary equipment in pass-through mode;
  • Auxiliary serial port can monitor for specific alphanumeric strings from an on-site ancillary equipment.3

ON-SITE PERIPHERALS

  • USB port to connect, for example: external memory for data logging, an external modem, etc.3

FAILURES

  • Plug for an AC/DC converter to monitor power fail on mains;

1 Only one external modem can be installed (with or without the optional internal modem). No voice interface and no DTMF control when the external modem is used.
2 Serial port adapter for PDA not included.
3 On future firmware releases.
