On site broadcasting at Live Golf events

TWI is the largest independent producer, packager and distributor of sports programs in the world. The organisation produces over 5,000 hours of original programming each year for distribution to more than 200 territories.

TWI Radio has over the last 5 or 6 years produced dedicated on-site radio coverage at major golf tournaments throughout the UK - and Radica have been providing the expertise and a range of broadcast services at TWI-covered events.

Effortless event planning

Radica's specialised knowledge of high profile sporting events means that TWI can leave all the technical planning and installation to us.

Broadcasting equipment is installed on site two or three days before the tournament starts, with a Radica engineer on site as a point of contact to sort out logistical and technical issues. This ensures that the broadcast team at TWI can concentrate on what they do best: producing hours of quality programming.

Radica is involved with the project from conception through to planning and completion. Our unrivalled experience in dealing with other major broadcasters on-site enables the station to go live - and stay live - with the minimum amount of fuss.

Rapid set up and implementation

Utilising inherently reliable equipment and a rapidly deployed telescopic antenna located in a small box trailer, Radica's engineer can arrive on site by car and have the station on air within a few hours. The system is ultra portable and removes the need to find suitable structures on which to mount the broadcast antenna.

Over the last 12 months TWI and Radica have successfully partnered on no fewer than six events to produce quality radio programming within immovable time constraints and tight budgets. These events have included prestige tournamentas such as:
