Restricted Service Licences

Radica have more experience of 'Restricted Service Licence' (RSL) broadcasting than anyone else. Between us we've been responsible for over 1200 such transmissions starting with the very first one back in 1984.

With unparalleled experience and our extensive resources, Radica can provide the best equipment and services for those who are serious about their RSL operations. Historically, Radica personnel have, since 1984, worked closely with the relevant authorities to help expand and improve the range of licences available.

We offer a comprehensive service including event pre-planning, site selection, equipment provision and installation. We can also offer help ranging from impartial advice to full professional technical support throughout your broadcast. All equipment is set up to your particular requirements and fully tested before despatch to ensure optimum reliability throughout your broadcast.

Over the years Radica have provided temporary broadcast facilities for high profile events such as the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, the British Open and Ryder Cup tournaments, and the series of Oasis concerts at Knebworth. We have also broadcast the film soundtracks at dozens of 'drive in movies' throughout the UK. Whether you are a large corporation or a small community broadcaster we have the experience and expertise to ensure that your broadcast is a resounding success.

As well as AM and FM transmitters from 50 mW to over 25W, we also have an extensive range of other equipment available for hire. This includes:

  • Studio Equipment
  • Studio to Transmitter Links
  • RDS Generators
  • Audio Processors
